- Install: In Google Chrome, add this PCPNDT Form Tool extension.
- Pin Icon: For ease of use, pin the icon to the toolbar. To do this, click on the Chrome extensions icon on the top-right, next to the URL bar. Then click the pin icon next to the PCPNDT Form Tool extension.
- Fill Options: Click on the tool icon. This will open the tool menu. Click on Options. This will open the tool options. Fill the name of your clinic/diagnostic centre, etc. There are only a few options to fill. Click on 'Save' and then close the form.
- Visit PNDT: You must visit the PNDT page. For the AP state, this is at: http://pcpndt.ap.gov.in/. Login to your account.
- Activate: On the PNDT page, you can activate the tool. Click on the tool icon, to open the tool menu. Click on 'Activate'. Once activated, the tool will work to fill in all the known fields in the PNDT form and colour-codes fields that you must focus on. Whenever you open the PNDT page, you must activate the tool. Usually, you will do this once a day.
- Download Report: Whenever you submit the PNDT form, the form data is stored in your browser by this tool. To submit the data to authorities, you can download this report. Click on the tool icon, to open the tool menu, and download the report. This file can be opened and printed in Microsoft Excel or in Google Docs. In Google Docs, you can open the file by creating a blank presentation, and then click on File > Open > Upload.
- Backup: The PNDT data you submit is stored in your browser by the tool. The tool does not upload the data to any server. So, you must regularly backup your data if you wish to keep it safe. You can backup and restore in the tool menu. You can also delete the stored records occassionally to save disk-space.
- Purchase: If you like the tool, consider making a one-time purchase to continue using it and support development. After a few records, the tool will prompt you to purchase. This will lead you to a secure payu.in page to make the payment. After the purchase, you will reach a page on which you must again activate the tool, to register the payment.

If significant software updates are required, like if/when the Govt. PNDT form itself is changed, then, a new purchase may be required for the new version.
